The Best of Stamp News Publishing (SNP)

Greetings!

This June 2025 issue is a bit different from most as it contains three different articles that come in whole or in part from one author, Geir Sør-Reime.

One is the conclusion of the historic Czech series. It took us five parts to work our way through the comprehensive coverage, supplemented by more than 500 images from which I could choose.

Then there are two features that I decided to use while they are timely. One, by Geir, traces the history of Greenland, including its connections to the United States. The other encompasses tariffs, a subject that is prominent as I write this—with particular emphasis on the small entities for which stamps have been issued. You can decide if they are subject to tariffs in theory or in practice. That feature also includes a piece on Lundy by Christer Brunström.

While still overseas, as we work our way through German States Fabulous Firsts, we incorporate Oldenburg into the series.

For U.S. coverage we present for your reading and studying pleasure two relatively lengthy compilations, one on all of the U.S. 1861 issues and the other on all of the Confederate States General Issues.

Enjoy!
